Pilot Install is a clever utility that lets you install .prc, .pdb, and .pqa files without performing a full HotSync. Features include a selectable baud rate (up to 256000), multiple file installation, drag-and-drop installation, and the ability to execute from the command-line. Pilot Install is perfect for anyone who is tired of waiting through the full HotSync process, just to install one or two new files. This is must-have freeware.

...Pilot Install is an ingenious little tool that does away with that trouble by directly installing the software for you. All of your prc, .pdb, and .pqa files can be efficently shot over to your Palm device without the need for a complete and extensive HotSync transfer. You can select multiple files to send at the same time and a command line option is also provided in case you're trying something fancy like system automation or anything else you may have up your sleeve. The software is free for personal use, gotta love that, and can be installed and running in a matter of minutes.

This is a great piece of software... I realized that I could put a shortcut in C:\WINDOWS\SENDTO directory.
...when I right clicked some files, I could go to "Send To", select the shortcut, and hit the hotsync button on the cradle... Done!

envi.con has really put together a "must have program" for anyone who often uploads apps or docs to their Palm. It can't be much easier. No installation on pc, no dll-s, just download the PilotInstall and double-click and you are on the move. The software were given 5 cows at Tucows, 5 stars at ZDNet and we definitely agree! It is even another surprise that it is compatible with this list: Windows 95/98,2000,NT. And finally and mayby best of all, it is free! (mypdaportal.com)

Without a doubt, the best palm install tool available today - bar none - end of story - the ball game's over - the fat lady has sung. Up until now, I had been using 'MiPalm' as my default installer. As fantasic as it is, it does not allow you to transfer files to your palm without hotsyncing - but this baby does! And fast! (And yes, even if you manually disabled all your conduits 'Pilot Install' is STILL faster.) Fine piece of software...great work.

This is an outstanding little program! Now there is no need to modify ALL your conduits to "Do Nothing" when you just want to quickly install a new program.

Cool Software!! It does save lots of my time!! I'd rate it with 5 stars.
